MLC Add-On |
Getting StartedTo get started using an Access 2000 add-on, you must link it to TntMPD. To do this:
More CommentsA few things to note, once you have linked an add-on in TntMPD, you may notice that under the "Access" menu, you now have a list of some queries that can be run and an "Edit Queries..." menu option. Most of the time, these queries will not be made to run correctly by themselves. If you execute them from this menu, you could get unpredictable and/or unreliable results. Also, you should NOT edit, delete, or rename any of the queries, by using the "Edit Queries" button, unless you are a very advanced Access user, as you will definitely affect and probably break the add-on. You can, however, use the "Edit Queries" button to create "New" queries (for advanced users only). But please note that if you do add queries to an add-on, when the author of the add-on makes changes or updates to the add-on, when you download and install it, your custom queries will be lost. * Note, there is a known bug that sometimes crops up for Windows 2000 users. If you download an add-on that allows printing reports, Windows 2000 will sometimes crash out of the add-on and not print anything. If you run into this problem, Microsoft's solution is to remove all of your printers from Windows 2000 and then re-create them. This solution does seem to clear up the printing problem, but if you are unfamiliar with adding and removing printers, be sure to get some help as you may need the manufacturer's printer drivers to add your printer(s) back.
